In my student finance application, my grant shows as approved but the maintainance loan and tuition fee loan both show as blocked. Does anybody know why?

You need to contact your financial aid office. They may be missing some paperwork from you that the loan company needs in order to disburse your funds.

Did you tick the correct box saying you wanted the loan? Your best bet is to contact the Student Loans company - they get things wrong often (I had problems last year)

It%26#039;s because you haven%26#039;t submitted your National Insurance number. You can%26#039;t get any loans unless you provide this, that%26#039;s why the loan is blocked but the grant has gone through. Ring the SLC to provide it.
