the local council and the person dealing with you

a. doesnt have a good grasp of English, and then

b. forgets to put you on silent and asks, %26quot;how do I get rid of this woman%26quot;? colleague replies %26quot;put the phone down!

I was trying to get my student finance sorted.

No not happened to me but known someone has happened to, ring them back and try and speak to someone higher than line manager and report situation. All calls should be recorded and always insist on getting name of person you are talking to and keep record of the time/day you called. Good luck hope that you get it sorted out soon, I%26#039;m a full time student too and you have my full sympathy on this and don%26#039;t need unnecessary worries on top of study and life in general.

YEp. That%26#039;s why I try to do all of my business via email. I get %26quot;read receipts%26quot; when a message is read. That way I know they got it, and If I do have to call, I can go right to a supervisor.

Please tell me you got the name of the person you spoke with! You need to either go to that office or call back and demand a supervisor. You were mistreated! You deserve respect and the right to try and sort through your business just like everyone else. I%26#039;ve never had that happen to me but I have had extremely rude customer service personnel take my calls and I always take their name and then register a complaint if it was truly that bad.

I rang my dads work, ask if someone had called to speak to him (he was on holiday and they kept ringing) and some bird said %26#039;hold on%26#039; then i heard her say %26#039;%26#039;theres some random person on the phone......%26#039;%26#039; when she came back on I said %26#039;oh by the way im not a random person%26#039; she didnt say much after that, i put the phone down. flippin%26#039; rude cow.
