I have a placement and start in September at University of Kent studying Biology.......?

I will be a mature student.......the problem is my partner has just recieved a promotion and it means relocating near Leicester, they have waited so long for this promotion and it is a great opportunity for them that it would be silly not to take it, We are married with 2 children so living on campus is out of the question for me. But I still want to go to uni, my student finances are all in place and approved, but what I need to know is, due to the relocation will I be able to relocated to another uni with no problems, do I need to re-apply to another uni or can Ucas just swop uni%26#039;s for me due to the circumstances and do I need to re-apply for my finances due to it being a different county... and which would be the best Uni Birmingham or Liecester for the subject I want to study (thats if any of you know from present or previous experience).

I%26#039;m not sure what the circumstances are for mature students, but for me (I%26#039;m 17) I would have to reapply if I wanted to change.

I would talk to the Student Loans Company about the funding - if your tuition fees are being paid by the county then you may need to do something about it, if not, then I think it might be okay. They will be able to tell you what to do in any case.

At this stage you could apply to UCAS Extra if there are spaces on the course at Leicester, or alternatively you could wait till clearing and hope that spaces will open up if not. Again, talking to UCAS will probably help, they are very friendly and helpful.
